With 500HP and four-wheel drive, it’s the closest they’ve gotten to the homologated 205 T16 since the eighties. There’s a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! with some more details, too.

It’s not exactly my sort of Peugeot - I’ve honestly always preferred the vanilla 205 GTi to the T16, for reasons that are difficult to define - but from everything I’ve read about it, it’s a remarkable piece of engineering, and just the sort of halo car Peugeot needs to truly shake off the spectre of their 2000s malaise period.

So basically an RS3, but with less displacement and more crap making up for it. APR tune should have it in the same power neighborhood, should make for a good comparison.

For a one off first prototype that sounds like a very well sorted car. The pricing that he was talking about did make me cringe a little though. I hope they make it, but I suspect there will need to be some work done to lower the pricing target.
